My Reason Why...

Not many of you know my story, I typically only share when asked. How did I end up here ~ doing this work, what started it all?

Well, I can easily say it was my Mother. The world of energy work and mysticism was always a whisper in my ear, but the invitation to learn Reiki came in 2008, at the most Divine Time. A mere two months prior to my training, my mother was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer, called Inflammatory Breast Cancer. She was given 6 months to live. It was a time in my life which called for deep strength.

I was 23 years old and couldn’t relate to anyone my age. (I was dealing with “real” problems, so it felt) My Reiki master became my mentor and friend. I worked on my mom almost everyday - until the day came when I couldn’t. I was transforming and becoming more aware of everything, it got to the point that my very own hands were sensing the spreading of the disease before anyone else, and emotionally I did not know how to process that. I became a spot on “cancer detector” - nobody knew that but me and my reiki master. My mother went from 6 months to live to 2 years. In that time we did a whole lotta bonding, expanding, and a whole new way of living was revealing before my eyes.

So this space here, that I created for you, for us, is because of my Mother and everything we went through together. Those were some of the toughest years of my life and this is why I do what I do. When I look back at my life experiences I can see how it has all been a set up to get me here.

When we heal, we all share that healing.
