ABOUT: The Fun Facts Version
NAME/NICKNAME: Sabrina Savoy/Sab/Sabri
BIRTHDAY/SIGN/ELEMENT: April 25/Taurus/Earth
WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU WERE YONGER: A dancer. I loved performing. Jazz, tap, and hip hop.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO REIKI, YOGA, MEDITATION: I first heard about Reiki from a college friend and went for a session right away. I liked it but didn't think much about it until 4 years later...You can read the long version to find out why. I was 17 when I fell in love with yoga, I went to one class, had no clue what I was doing and loved every second of it :)
Well, if I really think about Meditation I have done it many times when I was child and didn't even know it. Officially I started meditated around the age of 17.
WHY HAVE YOU CHOSEN THESE MODALITIES TO SERVE: I have chosen these areas to explore and assist others with as I know they have worked for me, transformed me, and provide me inspiration to continue learning, growing, and sharing, These avenues of work are a way of living to me. Everything I do with my students/clients I do as well and have done consistently in the past which has brought to me where I am now. I will always be a student of life and I will always want to share with my tribe the tools of balance, happiness, & all around good vibes. I truly believe that we are stronger together and we DO create our World. Through heart centred living this World becomes a better place and WITH LOVE we become a complete human experience.
THOUGHTS ON RELIGION: My services are universal, there is no prerequisite of religion :)
HAVE YOU EVER SKY DIVED/SCUBA DIVED: Yes and Yes. Sky diving was fun - thats what I wanted for my 18th birthday! I remember telling my parents and my Dads answer was, "Only if I come with you"
My reply, "Really? That's awesome". We took a day course and did a solo jump - I figured if I'm gonna jump out of a plan I want to do this jump myself, it really was incredible...I wanted to keep going!
Oh Scuba diving...I also went with my father. Okay so clearly he is also adventurous. My experience with scuba diving was not so epic, but still an experience nonetheless. It was somewhere in Mexico, I got the hang of breathing and felt okay however in hindsight I did not have enough weight on me as I kept floating up. I floated all the up to the surface and in a panic I started swimming straight down to catch up with the group. The pressure from swimming downward pushed my mask all the way off. I'm swimming with no mask on, finally I reached the bottom of the ocean floor, found the instructor and he gave me his mask a bit then took me back to the surface. I threw up and didn't equalize my ears at all on the way back up as all I could think of was "Don't Die". So far as I have almost drowned 3 times and I still absolutely love the water...interesting. I have been in deep journey meditations and every time I have lived in the water at some point in time.
